Provincetown, Ma. A beautiful destination for tourists or locals with much to do in the area.

One of the most wildly popularized monuments for Cape Cod is the Pilgrim Monument. It's something that everyone from the Cape has gone to and climb to the top at some point in their life to look over Cape Cod and its beautiful oceans. Some local schools even take field trips out to it each year. To learn more on the monument and to see how you can climb it yourself, click here.

Another fun thing to do while in Provincetown is to go to the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. This also tied in with the Pilgrim Monument field trip. As a girl who went to school on Cape Cod, I can definitely tell you that this was a field trip that most kids looked forward to going to. The beautiful art you see at this museum is definitely something worth not missing.

This week we will focus on Sandwich, Ma. Yes, you heard that right. Sandwich. No, not like the thing that you eat. Yes, there is a Sandwich police. And while the name may be comical to many, Sandwich is a great tourist attraction filled with many fun things to do.
One of the prettiest things to do in Sandwich, by far, is going and walking around the Heritage Museum and Gardens. You can go and look at the cars and the sculptures inside of the buildings or you can walk around the nature trails and see all the beautiful flowers and trees and natural springs and so much more. The Heritage Museum is definitely something you don't want to miss if you are on Cape.
Another fun thing to do is take a walk on the Sandwich Boardwalk. This is something even the locals love doing. It's beautiful in the early mornings, the afternoon and even the late nights. Watch the sunrise, sunset, going for a walk, or even jumping off the bridge and into the nice ice cold water to cool you down, it's something everyone loves doing.

Today we will be exploring the wonderful town that is Wellfleet.
This is the beautiful drive in theater that everyone from around Cape Cod goes to. It was built in 1957 and is still running strong today. It is showing current movies up to this day.
Or you can walk around the White Cedar Swamp. I personally got a chance to walk around this trail this past December. It is beautiful in every way and every season. Find out more about this trail here

This week we will focus on the attractions that surround the wonderful Chatham.
There is one great feature about Chatham and that's the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge. This is a wonderful way to connect with all of Cape Cod's wildlife. This organization works to protect the wild animals and gives the a sanctuary, so to speak, that they can live in. You can visit this wonderful place and see all that it has to offer.
Another fun thing to do in Chatham is visit Monomoy Island. You can take a boat here and just relax. This is also another great way to get in touch with nature.

This week we will take a look into the tourist attractions surrounding Sandwich Mass. Everyone is always so amazed by its shocking name thinking it refers to an actual sandwich. Regardless of its name, it is a real town with much to offer.
One place to check out is the Dexter Grist Mill. It is a beautiful tourist attraction in downtown Sandwich. You can walk all around it and even have picnics on the grass surrounding. It is a wonderful way to become one with nature on cape.

Another place well worth the visit is the Sandwich boardwalk. You can go and walk to unwind or reduce stress. Whatever the reason, I'm sure you'll enjoy walking this long boardwalk that overlooks the beautiful ocean. It's almost like you're walking on water.

Dennis has a lot to offer and has a lot to see for those who want to see Cape Cod but don't want to travel very far. Dennis, and the Cape Cod Rail Trail offers 22 miles of former railroad line between Dennis and Wellfleet.
Above is a map of the trail itself showing just how long the trail actually is.

Falmouth Ma, home to many tourists over hundreds of years. Falmouth has become a wildly populated town on the cape and there are many fun places to visit. It is beautiful and home to many; vacationer or not.
Nobska Point Lighthouse is a beautiful way to see what Falmouth has to offer. Just on the outskirts of Falmouth it over looks the beautiful oceans. On clear days you can see Martha's Vineyard.

Main street Falmouth, or downtown Falmouth as the locals call it, is a great place to go grab a bite to eat or go shopping and enjoy your day. They have many shops including toy stores, candy stores, clothing stores, bowling lanes and mud much more.
If in town and wanting to grab a bite for breakfast, Betsy's Diner comes highly recommended. Betsy's is a classic Cape Cod tradition. Everyone goes their with their families or even just to hang out with friends. Their hospitality and food is so good it'll leave you wanting more.

This week we will talk about a town called Mashpee, home to the Falcons. Cape Cod has a few well known towns and Mashpee is now of the few. There is so much that it is known for. There is a Wampanoag tribe, a shopping center called "Mashpee Commons," and so much more.
The Mashpee Wamanoag Tribe, whom I have had the pleasure of meeting and even going to high school with a few members, is well known for being the first people to inhabit the Cape Cod area. They are very well known for their Pow Wow's which have become more of an entertainment aspect for tourists.
Mashpee Commons is also a very well known part of Mashpee. It is a small shopping plaza for people to roam around and shop or even to just hang out with your friends. Many middle schoolers come to Mashpee Commons with their friends to walk around and hang out.
